Connect North West

The specialist Neonatal Transport Team for the North West of England.

Our team move premature babies to Neonatal Units at hospitals across the entire North West of England

Not all Neonatal Units are equipped to deal with certain conditions, that’s where we come in. It takes specialist skills and equipment to be able to safely move premature babies from one hospital to another

Our team of Doctors, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Emergency Ambulance Crew work together to make sure babies get to where they need to go. All supported by the Cot Bureau team, who coordinate all our calls

The team who transferred my baby were amazing and I can’t thank them enough for getting her here. As soon as I met them, they made me feel at ease and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to have done it. Thank you so much.

So professional, organised and caring. Thank you for taking such good care of my little one.

We’re a part of both the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and the North West Neonatal Operational Delivery Network. We also work closely with St John Ambulance to facilitate our transfers
