Connect North West is part of the North West Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (NWNODN)
Our team provide a specialised transport service for neonates. We work from one central location, which means we are not too far from any of the neonatal units in our network.
We are a skilled multidisciplinary team consisting of Consultants, Speciality Doctors, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Emergency Ambulance Crew, who are all experts in the care and transport of neonates.
Our team are available 24-hours a day every day of the year, ready to carry out emergency transfers, and planned transfers between 09:00 and 18:00.
We understand that the transfer of your baby is an extremely stressful and difficult time. Our team are there to support you along the way and are happy to answer any of your questions. We will introduce ourselves to you on arrival at the unit, and explain what will happen throughout your baby’s transfer.
It’s our job to make the transfer of your baby go as smoothly as possible, and your baby’s safety is our highest priority.
