Connect Northwest is part of the North West Operational Delivery Network. We provide a specialised transport service for neonates. We work from two bases; one at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester and one in Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
We are a skilled multidisciplinary team consisting of experienced Doctors, Nurses, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Paramedics who are all experts in the care and transport of neonates. Our Team are available 24 hours a day to carry out emergency transfers and planned transfers up until 6pm.
We understand that the transfer of your baby is an extremely stressful and difficult time. Our team are there to support you along the way and are happy to answer any of your questions. We will introduce ourselves to you on arrival at the unit and explain what will happen throughout your baby’s transfer.
We want to make the transfer of your baby go as smoothly as possible and your baby’s safety is our highest propriety.
